Short version: this site collects almost nothing, because it barely can.

What the site is

Static HTML and CSS. There is no JavaScript on any page. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies, no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

That is partly principle and mostly consistency. A domain that used to hold people's personal notes should not be quietly collecting behavioural data on the people reading about it.

What is collected

Server logs. Your hosting provider records requests: an IP address, a timestamp, the page, the browser string. Standard for any web server and what allows a site to be served at all. These are not analysed to build a picture of individuals.

Nothing else. No account, no sign-up, no newsletter requiring an address, no embedded third-party widgets, no session recording.

About the closed product

This domain previously ran NotesNudge, a service that connected to users' note-taking applications and emailed them one of their own notes each day. It handled personal notes, which is among the most sensitive categories of user content there is.

Fonts

The site uses webfonts. Depending on how they are served, a font request may reach a third party and expose an IP address. Where possible fonts are hosted alongside the site so no third-party request is made.

What we do not do

No advertising, profiling or account-based tracking is implemented in this static build. External references are ordinary links and do not by themselves establish an affiliation with the linked sites.

If anything here changes — particularly if anything is added that collects data — it will be stated on this page with a date, and noted on corrections rather than quietly amended.
